What we collect, and why

Contact form

When you write to us we receive your name, email address, the subject of your enquiry, your message and, if you choose to give it, your company or organisation.

• Purpose: handling and answering your enquiry.
• Legal basis: your consent, given through the tick box on the form.
• Retention: 12 months from our last exchange, then deletion to decide.
• Recipients: the members of the Paris Business Angels permanent team handling your enquiry. No disclosure to third parties.

Messages are stored in the website database. If you want yours deleted sooner, simply write to us.

Founder and business angel applications

Applications are not submitted on this site. The relevant buttons lead to intranet.parisbusinessangels.com, a platform run on behalf of Paris Business Angels by All-in-Web, a French provider whose servers are located in France.

Data entered there is collected on that platform, not on this site. It is used to assess your application and is accessible to the permanent team and to the network members reviewing the file.

Retention periods for applications: to be completed.

Server logs

Like any web server, ours automatically records the visitor's IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response code and the technical details sent by the browser.

• Purpose: security, abuse detection and incident diagnosis.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.
• Retention: 14 days, after which logs are overwritten to decide.
• Recipients: the technical operator of the server, Fast Growth Advisors, bound by confidentiality.

Cookies and trackers

This site sets no cookies. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no social media cookies. That is why you will not see a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

We use no analytics tool, no tracking pixel and no ad network, and we carry out no profiling or automated decision-making.

Hosting and data location

The site is hosted by OVH SAS on infrastructure located in France.

Links to other sites

We link to LinkedIn, Instagram, our startups and our partners. These are plain links: no content from those platforms is embedded in our pages, and no data reaches them unless you click. Once there, their own policies apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise these rights, write to us using the details at the top of this page. We reply within one month, extended to three months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you.

We will only ask for proof of identity where there is genuine doubt about who you are.

You may also give instructions on what should happen to your data after your death.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL. We would rather you came to us first, so we can put things right directly.
